Going home to see my family. Super excited, just not looking forward to the 10 hour drive with the kiddos

@KidLightning the singer from Audrye Sessions apparently has a new project since 2011 basically right after that band ended. Sounds intriguing. Called Low Roar. Genres listed for it are: Indie Folk, Dream Pop, Post-Rock. 3 albums so far, latest one was this year.

Edit: The EP Audrye Sessions released before calling it quits is worth checking out. For anyone interested the band opened for Manchester in the METN era. RIYL: Radiohead Pablo Honey/The Bends era.

 

I decided to go to the Slaughter Beach, Dog show and they’ve played some great stuff over the speakers between sets: Diet Cig, Hotelier, MoBo (lol). I highly recommend everyone look up Shannen Moser, who opened for them. Walter Etc was good too. SBD is about to go on. Hope y’all are having a good evening/day!
