Totally agree. And I want to point out that this whole cycle/production being calculated is a really good thing as you suggest. They are one of the few bands that can actually calculate their moves way in advance and not have to ebb and flow with the current landscape of the industry or their label. For Blink to see that and finally take it seriously like that is perfect.

This is the type of tour where if I am Blink, I say fuck it, and rip off Dumpweed and Don't Leave Me back to back with no break in between. Let's open this thing up and let it rip haha.

Dumpweed/Don't Leave Me back to back to start the show with no break in between would be magical.

Now I need that to happen, haha.

Lol, how old are you guys? I'll be 30 this year and although I have far less patience then I used to, for most shows I'm still like "if I'm paying over $40 for this I'm going to be able to see up someone on stage' nostrils." Then again I guess I don't like any extraordinarily rough bands. I was smart enough to stand off to the side of the barrier for Deftones. Haha. The xgames Blink show is going to be rough though, that texas heat alone is a force not to be reckoned with and I know ATL fans are going to show up crazy fucking early. I feel especially bad for people going to dates with them.

I'm with you. I'm turning 29 this year, and yeah I'm at the point where I don't care how much the ticket cost, no way am I going to a show if I'm not close enough to read the logo on their shirts. I just don't see the point anymore of going to a show where I'm so far back I'm relying on the jumbo screens....regardless of how much I've had to drink lol. I'll never be on a lawn again.

Mattitude should be the name of the next Sekrets album. Or the next Weezer record.

    Things have changed.

This is totally me. Life is too short to sit in shitty seats.

I am at late 20's. I wanted to get pit tickets, but my group voted for seats. I want a mostly energetic set that would bode well for lots of pit movement. Throw a few slower numbers to let people catch their breath and the open it back up. To me, Blink has always been music that makes me want to jump around, sing catchy hooks, and just have fun. That's what I want from their tour haha.

I'm going to be 28 next month, but I have a terrible back, busted up knees, and feet that always give me problems. I am officially an old man before the age of 30.

    Young at heart, though.

  12. it kills me that i could only afford lawn seats. i hate being far back from any show i'm at. luckily the place i'm seeing them at isn't very large. it'll be fine. but i am bummed that i won't be up close.

i'm 30 and my favorite place to be (at any show) is as close to front as possible and off to one of the sides. most people are pushing for front and center, so it's generally really easy to get up front on the sides. and you don't have to deal with crowd surfers or moshing or anything. it's great. i want to be that close for Blink one day... haha. $75 for GA is crazy. especially because that's before the service fees.

a couple years ago, i drove down to Vegas by myself to see Blink. it was $85 i think, plus a cheap hotel. plus alcohol. haha :-)

Maybe it's because I am no native speaker, but even having lived in the states, I don't get the pun OBGYN Kenobi. What am I missing?

"OB-GYN" pronounced as each letter separately sounds similar to "Obi-Wan"

Star Wars and gynecology reference. A play on Obi-Wan Kenobi and OBGYN is the common abbreviation (commonly spoken spelled out, like "Oh-be-gee-why-en") for someone who's a doctor of obstetrics (baby deliverer) and gynecology, female reproductive system doctor.

Came here to say I'm part of the old crew as well, turned 32 today (and had my 1:1 pilates this morning, mending a stressed sacrum from years of abuse/bad posture). I think I'll be at 3 of the shows… Vegas, San Francisco (Mountain View) and LA. Pretty excited.

Ahhh thanks guys. The kenobi part was clear but now I get it! Funny, because OB means tampon in German.

    I am a haunted house. I'm superstitious.

That reminds me of pre-untitled release interviews where they joked around saying the album was going to be titled "Use Your Erection" to make fun of GNR.

Late 20s. I still go pit if given the chance. Won't go into the karate whirl pool or crush zones of Parkway Drive etc. But blink style is fun and bouncey.

I don't understand the OBYGYN Kenobi title joke? I get its Star Wars based but what it's the capitals at the start is it another inside joke
Edit: don't worry it's literally been answered above me like 15mins earlier but hadn't seen it yet. Thnsks

I don't know what is going on, but I've heard Wishing Well twice in the last few days, out in the wild. Sports Chalet and Trader Joes

The older I get the less I care if I'm near the front. I'd rather just pay the cheaper tickets and sit further away.
