I've spent the past few days listening to my (remaining) top albums of the year, sort of as a reminder that there are still plenty of good things about this year, especially music-wise. I'm deciding between Phoebe Bridgers and Big K.R.I.T. as the new #10 on my list.

 

You might have to "Jack Sparrow" it, but it might be their best work. Do you like Worship and Tribute?

 

The Sabres play the Penguins tonight in Pittsburgh. Whoever guesses the closest without going over on how bad we'll lose, I will listen to an album of your choice tomorrow. (within reason)

My personal guess is 7-2 Penguins

On an emotional level I’m like 2>5>3>4>1 but logically I feel that 5 is the best.

The only thing i don’t like by them is Migrant. Save for a song or two, i find it incredibly boring

 

Where does Color Spectrum end up in there for you?

 

I dunno, I’ve never ranked it amongst the Acts, and probably couldn’t, but I love it!

 

Also as far as emotional level for me it'd be

I think Act 3 has a lot of fantastic individual tracks but doesn’t flow as well as 2 or 5

I grew up in this small city south of San Francisco that’s actually an island and I dunno, kind of obscure. Anyways, every year we have this art and wine festival and one time I was there and walking towards me is this big burley dude and he gets closer and it’s fuckin Nick Crescenzo! Apparently they have friends in that town haha. It was pretty amazing
