I got my vinyl the day before this all went down. I was so pumped to get it. It has a poster with it... I almost put it up, but realized I didn’t have any sticky tack.

I would have had to have taken it down the next evening if I’d put it up.

I think they're giving out refunds now if you ask for one, so you don't even need to dispute it.

i posted this band earlier in the thread and i just found out they were putting out a new album this week omg!!

 

I am actually going to wait to get the vinyl and sell it along with the rest of my collection most likely. I am waiting for things to play out a little more. I am hoping the rest of the band can do something redeeming where I feel comfortable keeping everything I bought over the years... but I don't think that will happen.

I'll sell, donate a portion to charity, and spend the rest on a nice dinner date.

 

It's possible he thought that attempting to become a victim in his public statement would come off in a negative way, and it absolutely would have. The statement didn't speak to the victims, but it at least spoke to the fact that he knew he was to be blamed for his actions.

Quick edit, I'm not even saying that those situations ruined his life or even made a large impact, but it still could have been a situation he found himself in.

Email them. They refunded my vinyl.

a) Why are YOU proud, this has nothing to do with you
b) Why does it "feel right" that a random and unrelated female fronted band has your favorite album of the year
c) If the album this thread is about wasn't a contender anyways, why are you even sharing this opinion
