Dude, I have been in a serious funk. I mean, I went to a house party the other night, but I’ve basically been in bed all weekend. This is not like me. Typically I go to the gym, go bike riding, play music, video games etc. Nothing interests me lately except for hanging out with friends and going out to bars with them. So if I’m not doing that, then I’m basically doing nothing. Although, I have been going to the movies a lot as of late

 

See the thing that sucks about my brain is even though those are all things people enjoy, none of it makes me happy. Plus I don't even have friends!

 

What do you and your gf do for fun?

 

It’s also a catch 22 cause you don’t wanna go out without friends but you can’t meet friends unless you go out

 

This is 100% true

 

Concerts pretty much but we went to like 20 this year which leaves 345 days of nothing! Today I played some Mario Odyssey and she watched Z Nation (which is garbage btw). Idk, we just stay home most of the time

Hmmm. Well, what it is that you want to be doing?

 

I snowboard a lot in the winter. That’s my like “go to” for fun, and it also is like meditation for me. When I’m snowboarding I forget about everything. It’s nice. Normal day to day fun is an occasional video game, watching sports, reading etc.

 

Playing shows, probably. I enjoy that. I guess what I want to be doing is enjoying the small things in life but I have a faulty brain

 

I want In N Out in MO

 

Zaxby’s too. Well, in my area anyway, the closest one is in Springfield.

 

Is that place good?

Maybe you need to force yourself into some activities outside your comfort zone. I’ve been in weird funks before, and I did things like taking an improv class or joining a kickball league. They really helped me get over the anxiety and depression I was going through at the time.

 

Do you cook at home a lot, or mostly eat out?

 

I try to eat at home, mostly. But I always go out to bars on the weekend with friends

I’ve been thinking of changing my username as of late. Not cause it’s related to Brand New, I’m just kinda tired of it. It’s been like 9 years now or something so I feel kinda tied to it though, as lame as that might be
