JEW is the band I'm turning to. Been on a huge kick before the incident and I'm finding solace during. If Futures becomes my new favorite record, I'm okay with that. There were some days where I felt it and TDAG were tied.

 

The republic of wolves are going to be heavy in my rotation this week

 

I've been trying to get through this by diving into St. Vincent's earlier albums. Different music scene but I've been obsessed with this one song in particular.

I browse most when I'm eagerly anticipating a band statement that needs to come out. Like ya know, right now. Other than that, pretty inconsistent with browsing unless I got something on my mind but I like to check it at least once a day

Yeah that Restorations song was brilliant so you have another convert here! Will go through similar bands and other recommendations. Have been spinning The Future Is Cancelled by Captain, We're Sinking today as well, suggest that to anyone unfamiliar with them.

So good! I didn't get into her until self titled came out. Now that Masseduction came out and I've listened to it a million times I've been starting from the beginning. Strange Mercy and Marry Me are such amazing albums she has such a strong catalog.

 

Man, separate songs was definitely what I needed right now.

 

No problem. Great band and has always deserved more recognition. So I figured while this thread turns into a "Which Band To Replace Brand New With" thread while we wait, might as well post Restorations.

Simpler times for sure haha. Geoff didn't tear into Shkreli as much as I thought he would, if I recall correctly.

 

I've been turning to a bunch of great female artists. Julien Baker, Petal, Japanese Breakfast, Half Waif, Now Now, Mitski, and Lorde have all been in rotation since yesterday.

Oh, and Paramore.
