What are the chances the brand new camp is aware that this exposure is going on as we speak? Probably pretty high if these are all LI people hey?

 

This is so messed up. Like its bad enough the stuff from the 2000's but if the comments about just before the album came out, while holding his baby girl are true, then shit. I feel so bad for anybody he victimized, i feel bad for his wife if this is all true and she didn't know about it.

 

Fuck there is recent shit like that? I have to go back and check but I'm afraid. Like you said Fen this is so fucking messed up and hella disappointing to hear.

 

I’m not putting much weight into that account. It’s too hard to know exactly what went on there. If it’s just him talking to people or whatever and it could be misinterpreted.

That First hand account needs to be taken very seriously tho, there needs to be a statement.

You are probably right, that can easily be misinterpreted. But yeah, they need to address that account. This isn't something they can be silent on.

 

I don't know what to think but there's plenty of bands I know are shitty people and I can still enjoy the music. Let's be clear here I'm not excusing any of the alleged behavior just saying that sadly this is far more common than it should be and it shouldn't be. Hopefully this current momentum carries over and results in a long lasting change because it needs to stop.

I'm just really really shaken right now. Jesse's lyrics are responsible for me not killing myself. Like Deja and TDAG changed my life. But the fact that he was doing this to underage girls is just disgusting. I feel terrible for the victims in this situation.

I'd give it more time. But yeah will be interesting to see what happens here and if any of this is acknowledged and addressed by the band at all.

 

Will be interesting to hear what Jason has to say about this. And if he knows or knew anything. Maybe Jesse got help at some point idk. It’s a possibility, whatever it is, it may be for the best that the band is ending.

That'd be weird with how scummy Pete Wentz is.

 

Kevin has been pretty vocal about issues like this so he wouldn't speak on Jesse's behalf but it will certainly influence the bands decision to make a statement since Kevin is associated with them more than ever now and it wouldn't be fair to him just to ignore the situation entirely.

I could honestly seeing it becoming radio silence from the Brand New camp. I really hope Kevin is above all of this.

Like the stories from the Sum 41 camp aren't all roses either mostly the partying and other details I won't mention here but yeah always interesting when it's someone who's been around the band. Definitely more weight to it. From the first few comments of his I read on fb it def sounds like he has some real beef with Jesse still. Must of ended badly between him and band. All of this sucks to hear.
