I listened to Speak the Truth and it's just not for me.

 

Yeah that label is definitely on my radar now. I'll check out more of their roster for sure. Couldn't that be the label Animal Flag might land on?

It was disappointing! There were a few songs I thought were solid, but overall it was definitely lacking

Soooooo it's still a new release! Prob going to check out the new Quicksand. They are a band i've never listened to for some reason. Seems like I would like them. Same thing for Bethlehem Steel but that band name has the same name as an MLS team isnt that copyright infringement lol

 

Oceansize and Bear vs Shark are 2 other bands that i've never checked out for some reason.

Edit: Also the offspring of Bear vs Shark: Bars of Gold seems like something i would really enjoy as well. So much music out there. There are literally billions of albums in the world. It's impossible to get around to all of them.

It would potentially be trademark infringement, but you have to be actively using the name in a commercial context in the same class of products/services (or otherwise show a high likelihood of customer confusion) for that. I doubt anyone is mixing up a DIY indie rock band and an MLS team.

Also, Bethlehem Steel was the name of one of the US's largest steel companies back in the day.

 

Yeah I just saw that actually and they are a USL team not MLS. I recognized the name because when i went to see the Ottawa Fury they played against them haha

 

Good news!!!! I didn’t have work today so i stayed out till 4am with some buddies last night because one of my best friends is visiting back home for the week. I woke up this morning to a call saying i need to drive an hour and 15 mins out of the city to go fix someone else’s mistake at work!

i can't tell the history part but seems lots like a lot of the comments people have to say were from the mid 2000s. which obviously doesn't excuse shitty behavior. but it definitely requires some sort of response or something, because if women feel the need to talk about these incidents they definitely aren't forgiven yet, which means he did not handle it the right way at all. and that's the most concerning part
