I loved TA when I first heard PTSBBAM. I remember a lot of people on AP hated them. When ISB was about to come out there wasn’t a lot of hype for it. Then people started to hear, and realize they are in fact very good. People like to chalk it up to them maturing/becoming better songwriters with ISB. Though I honestly love all their work.

No denying though that ISB, and Stage Four are much more serious/dense albums than previous work though. Also Brad Wood producing both albums helps. He’s produced my fav mwY album, and IDOTG is arguably SA best sounding album.

I rarely return to ISB anymore, but it's a great record. I love PTSBBAM a lot still as well

I love that album, I just didn't think the lyrics on ISB were very interesting.

Did anyone here listen to Make Do And Mend? They were considered part of "The Wave".

ISB is still my favorite Touche album. Stage Four is great of course but is an absolutely brutal listen lyrically and takes a lot to come back to.

MD&M is a snooze fest and I don’t know how they got lumped in with these bands.

I gave MD&M a try years ago and couldn't get into it. Figured I would give them a try today and see if that's changed... it has not.

Tour packages mostly. I saw them probably 4 or 5 times simply because of the tours they were on. They were always OK, a step up from the generic trash but never made anything remotely groundbreaking or catchy.

I staned gor End Measured Mile and they were sick on the La Dispute/B&C tour when I saw them, but that was years ago.

MDAM was great at a certain time

Really looking forward to this one and like the song!

Like a few others, my only gripe is that I feel the chorus could have done without being repeated twice or at least could have been delivered less straight for every repeat of the 'what a way' line. Adding a bit more character to its delivery might have improved it perhaps.

End Measured Mile was a great album, but I haven't returned to it in forever and have no clue how it stands up today.

I thought MDAM was great in 2012, but End Measured Mile and Everything You Ever Wanted did not stand up well at all for me beyond then

ISB is great but SF is just better imo. The only one I think who hasnt gotten better with each album is La Dispute but DISCLAIMER i still love ROTH i just love Wildlife a little more lets not start this bullshit im not in the mood today.

i dont think ive ever even listened to MDAM aside from a song or two and i just couldnt deal
