Only just now listened to the song after posting the link. Fuck. Dan’s always been one of my favorite singers in the genre and this is the best he’s ever sounded, to me.

 

It's not on Amazon anymore, at least for now.

I keep seeing people online comparing it to 30 Seconds to Mars and I don't hear the comparison.

 

I like the synths. I'm a sucker for synths

 

Song is good, not great. Bang Bang clicked with me instantly, even over a year ago when there were just live camera phone videos of the song being played live.

I dunno if I'd have put this out as the 2nd release, but I'm sure it probably sounds better in the context of the album and it'll grow on me.

I hope this is one of the only slower tracks on here, for the wait we've had to endure for this album I want it to be almost all faster/heavier tracks.
