Hmmmm I think maybe it was The Great Golden Baby now they played. I can’t remember

 

I thought they played wish resign as well.
But I did have like 4 beers during that set. Whoops

 

Love seeing Golden Baby live, hope I get that one tonight.

I'm kinda bad with most of their song titles but I can try to keep track tonight if anyone wants me to

I really really hope I get the privilege to see ANIGW, Stay, Tunnel Vision, and Hex sometime.

 

The set I got tonight was very similar to the set Cameron posted on page 102. They 100% did not play Wish Resign though, sorry @Your Milkshake

 

So excited for tonight

 

Show ruled. So glad I got to catch it. Circa closed. Absolutely love Thrice but I feel bad for them having to follow or lead Circa on a co headlining tour. Circa is just on a different level. Their stuff is so dense and their performance is unparalleled really. They had the crowd captivated. They played ANIGW and it was fantastic. As I slightly feared it's impossible to do the 2 or 3 part harmonies in the chorus. Can't expect the impossible. Although Nick filled in some backup vocals and did a completely ace job. He really stepped up to the plate. Tunnel Vision, Amulet, and Rites were completely amazing too. Tunnel Vision is one of my favorites and the ending didn't dissapoint live. Rites was massive, extremely fun live. Every time I see them I'm dumbfounded at Anthony's abilities.

 

How did the crowd seem to like the new stuff? I'm not sure how people feel about it

 

The reaction seemed overwhelmingly positive at my date

That as way more in depth than I anticipated.
Would love to hear from the rest of the band in a similar way.

Also descensus and OLG should be swapped. Haha

 

BSN at number 5. Should be number 6 objectively but I understand that considering how awful VW was for him, keep that behind you, Anthony

 

BSN is number 1 for sure

 

He went really personal, it's so strange how his drug abuse and health issues are so connected to the music, creating a perspective we could never understand fully.

Wish he'd come on the boards tho so we can shit on his whack order

 

I would never expect his order, more than other bands/artists even, to match up with mine. Both personally, and the obvious stylistic differences of the most recent music.

 

Not surprising that Anthony put those two albums 1-2 considering they were the only records he wrote in a stable mental/physical condition. aside from that VW isn't a surprise at the bottom. I'm honestly most surprised that he likes the first 3 in the order they came out. Juturna > OLG > BSN.

That ranking was interesting. None of it was really based on how “good” he thought the record was, but more on what his life was like when making it.

 

Yeah definitely an interesting and eye opening read

 

BSN is top 3 at a minimum
