Touche is harder than new(ish) Pianos, correct? I think they might be too much for me. I'm a Keep You guy.

My depressions been kind of bad lately so Monday my friends took me to the Expo Park rose gardens around golden hour and this song reminds me of that.

Awesome video dude. It's artistic and really captures the spirit of the song. Watching the video was a great way to listen first time.

That split with TA/Pianos is fantastic, but it's not as good as the Touche/La Dispute split. Gravity Metaphorically is astounding.

Seriously, great work on the video. Really nailed down the vibe of the song while also sticking to your own statement/vision

The TA/LD split feels like post hardcore gospel for me at this point.

whoever took it upon themselves to contribute lyrics for charisma has it as "whirled away" instead of "what a way" which is interesting. definitely makes more sense as "what a way"

also the video kinda made me think of broad city, esp at the end. like if ilana and abbi were much more serious and morose and wanted to dance around the city to pbtt in costume

I love the video a ton. I'm not much for music videos, but this one really caught my eye and spoke to me. I love the story it tells and the care-free nature of watching these two people dance in public. It really capture the essence of the song. It truly is a lovely video to a lovely song. I can't stop watching it. Job very well done.

Seriously, thank you everybody. Music videos are a tricky thing for a filmmaker, where you really put in a lot of heart and effort into a project and then it kind of lives and dies on YouTube. There's rarely much audience interaction outside of reading comments and journalist/blogger mentions. You like live for premiere day to share it with friends and family and have my mom be like "IT'S SO GOOD WOW LET ME SHOW YOUR DAD" so it's nice to hear your feedback and chat with ya'll about it!

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Gave Charisma another listen. I'm not trying to be contrarian, but the song just has no staying power to me. It's good lyrically, but that's all I can say about it that's not a meh comment. I'll definitely still give the album a listen tho.

That's what stood out to me most in the song tbh. Great, great driving groove that is understated yet complex (my favorite combo hah).

Also, the song reminded me a lot of Somos' First Day Back, and Kyle sounds a lot like the singer from We Were Promised Jetpacks in this song.
