Are we sure Lonzo’s good?

 

I am sure Kyrie is good.

 

I haven't seen anyone say that, he's just a brand name at this point but this sounds like something simmons will say at some point

 

I have a real irrational dislike of Lonzo, hope he stays cocky never fixes his form and ends up playing in China

 

That's silly, it's not his fault his dads a jerk

 

He looks lost, can’t shoot, I’m not sure he can dribble, can’t finish ... I’m not convinced he’s good.

 

Get Bagley and load up on Duke guys and I’ll be a new Celtics fan.

 

I mean, he's 19.

So? This rookie class is full of young players ... can Lonzo show me he can dribble and shoot? Is that too much to ask?

 

Nah, I'm just saying. People expect too much out of kids, Payton couldn't shoot and Harris looked lost af and they're both solid players now. I don't think Lonzo can shoot off the dribble and he's never shown that he was good at it but it can change, perhaps.

 

Tatum also 19. And sooooo good.

 

Lonzo was taken second in a stacked draft.

 

I get it, I get it. He doesn't look good and that sucks for the lakers, maybe it was a mistake and he'll just be a really good backup and kind of a bust or he'll learn to shoot like Kidd did. I hate the lakers but I definitely feel bad for how much pressure he has on him by his dad and how bad players want to clown him. I had concerns with that shot but the lakers didn't think it mattered, he showed he could be a guy who can contribute just about every other place so they figured if he can learn to shoot he has sky high potential.

Also I'm happy they traded Russell, even though the nets defense is abysmal.

 

Not gonna happen. This Lakers team can win 35+ games.

That’s not playoffs, that should still be in the lottery. Could be 2-5.

 

Based on last season’s standings, 35 wins would put you around the 10th pick. You can disagree that they will win 35 games, but I highly doubt that 35 wins results in a 2-5 pick.

 

We’ll see. I think that pick is in play.

 

Warriors are fun to cheer against now.

 

Warriors are more fun to watch without Durant.

 

I still like Tyus Jones.
