Steak looks a little overdone, but I'd still eat it.

 

I am not a vegetarian and this is absolutely true.

I've had real chorizo a lot from mexican places in El Paso and soyrizo is so much better, it's really delicious.

 

Goddammit. I take the L.

 

Soyrizo > pork chorizo

Trader Joe's soyrizo is pretty bomb. But I'm also down with pork, chicken, or beef chorizo. #ChorizoEquality #AllFoodMatters

 

I have, and it's not bad, but soy does not have the texture or umami that pork does.

 

Your chorizo needs to crumble and soy does not crumble, it mushes.

 

I haven't had their brand of soryrizo but the one that HEB sells here in austin is pretty awesome. to the point that I haven't gotten it from any restaurants since I tried that 4 years ago.

 

You've never had proper soyrizo then

 

but when its a mexican Carna Asada you gotta get that outside a little crispy

 

this is the one that I had and I don't remember an issue with texture being weird.


and also I HATE the fake meat soy burgers.

 

Trader Joe's soyrizo is the way to go

True, but that looks like a thin cut and I worry there's no pink in the middle.
