    I'd be fine with anything. I'm glad we did a bracket for Static Prevails, because it's still a good album and I hope it got some people to check it out or revisit it, but if we just dropped "Anderson Mesa" I wouldn't cry foul, and it probably won't get any votes against any other album winner.

    "My Best Theory" is fine, but by far the worst song of these four.

    Because they've done that song 3 other times and it's only better than one of the others (Pain). The lyrics and Jim's vocal performance in "Littlething" are great and make the place and emotions of that song palpable.

    My Best Theory really sounds nothing like Pain or Get Right other than being a little “edgier” or whatever

    Pain and Get Right sound much more similar to each other than either does to Theory, IMO

    They're all a bit edgier/heavier than the songs around them, they're all built on these "crunchy" guitar parts, all pretty similar structures.

    I mean if JEW had put out a 4-song EP with Pain, Big Casino, My Best Theory, and Get Right, everyone would complain that it's too samey.

    Sure they’re all similar song structures, but the majority of JEW songs are... verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus
