    Not even in the ballpark.

Bahaha he really is going off the deep end. I lost my credentials for Soundscan last summer, but I think when I last checked Dream Walker had only sold like 30k after being out for 8 months. Compared to WDNTW selling over 600k.

Completely seperate topic. Just listened back to Tom's demos for the first time in a long time. Kinda funny how Golden Showers heavily references the lyric California & "this is California". Maybe something that influenced the album title choice and California themes to a degree.

Idk if they put out the 16 songs they demoed with Skiba that they threw out before meeting up with Feldmann, I'd probably buy that for 17 bucks. Yeah, definitely lol.

I hear ya totally on supporting artists that you love. I just often times find myself throwing that money elsewhere. I will admit sometimes I don't support the bigger artists as much because I tend to support the grinders out there. Like this $17, I would use it towards a DIY band like the Copyrights (who many old school Blink fans would enjoy btw) when they come through Cleveland this month. This isn't me trying to condemn someone's choice, but it's just two different approaches to the same outlook haha.

I'd be very interested in hearing them, I just find the idea of charging for unfinished material a little sleazy.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but 21 Days is so good. That ending.

As for the AVA demos, EZ PASS thru the fast lane for me on that one.

Yeah I totally understand that. Tom isn't exactly an unknown but he is operating a relatively DIY operation and is putting out a lot of IMO cool art which I'd like to keep enjoying, haha. And I pretty much get all my music via Apple Music which I know makes little difference to an artist, so I saw this as a good opportunity to give back just a bit.

I keep seeing that band name though, so I'll have to check em' out.

Yeah, just as a release by itself I really do generally agree lol. I did love the deluxe edition of Crimson by Alkaline Trio that had a bonus disc of all the demos.

    Things have changed.

If it hit #1 on a category in iTunes or on the Billboard chart (even an obscure chart), it was technically a best-seller. It's the same way every book on earth is a best-seller. It means nothing. Haha.

That's awesome that you are supporting something you like and believe in. That is much more than a lot of people can say. It's good that you don't feel entitled to stuff and I mean that.

If you are serious about the Copyrights, I would suggest either of these albums: North Sentinel Island or Learn the Hard Way. They have a pretty consistent sound that is very early Blink, early Green Day, and Ramones influenced. If you took the stylings of Kerplunk, Dude Ranch, the Ramones, and lost of backing vocals, that would be the Copyrights' sound imo.

I believe I read the password was FRONTROW or something like that. You might want to check on that.

Yeah, FRONTROW should be the password for all dates.

I just double checked, it's FRONTROW for all the dates. Seen it being thrown around in a lot of places.

Isn't the Livenation pre-sale for the app only as well?

  21. Sweet, I hope I can grab decent tickets through that since I couldn't pre order the album.

The Blink Discography Tour Rolls On!

    Dude Ranch Notes:
    - BASS SOLO! There should always be more of these.
    - Really, the chorus to Voyeur is so great even if it's creepy AF.
    - Not sure how many "+" to give Dude Ranch, but it's at least an A++++++
    - Enthused is so underrated. Another song that would be killer live.
    - It's kinda surprising how far into the album Josie is.
    - This album still holds up incredibly well to me.

Hopefully you can. A block of tickets will have been set aside for that pre-sale, so hopefully some of them are decent seats.
