Mario and AC are doing well, so that's good

 

Thimbleweed Park has an incredibly surprising and fun ending. Loved the game. Will play through on hard mode.

Also, Target's Black Friday ad leaked and confirm Wolfenstein II will be $30. Will buy.

 

Was not going to buy CoD this year but wound up getting convinced to by some friends. I’m really glad they did, because I’m honestly having the most fun with CoD I’ve had since Black Ops 2. The PVP is so much fun and totally engaging/addicting. Taking out the wall running and jet jumping really brought back that classic feel. Going to be playing it a good bit moving forward.

 

Started The Turing Test yesterday and got through Chapter 4. It took an interesting turn and I'm excited to finish it.

 

I think I'm going to play this over the week, 30 or so minutes a night. I loved their last game and my brother was saying this is in the same vein.

This is very reminiscent of Portal which my wife thought that's what I was playing and was surprised when I told her it wasn't haha. I feel like the puzzles here are easier though, there's only 2 so far that I haven't been able to figure out(both of which are considered optional/bonus puzzles)but after looking into it a bit 1 can't be easily solved until later in the game and the 2nd I watched a guide for a felt real stupid afterwards haha.

 

I've also seen that comparison. Which is a good thing, although I never finished the Portal games myself.

 

I have it too. I mainly just play war so far.

 

Oh! It all makes sense now, I enjoyed that game too!

I think this one is better in every way.

A couple things to get you started:
-Games Pass Trial for 14 days and then $10/month. There are tons of games in there.
-EA Access
-The current Games with Gold
-GameStop is doing the rental service starting November 13th so that is definitely worth your time.
-Lastly, a new sale goes live on XBL tonight so it’s definitely worth checking out.

You need to have a gold account first. Then you should see something on the homepage that says something about Gold Deals.

well there's not a whole lot of games coming out for Xbox One really. I want to get one too but I'm finding it exceedingly hard to justify it, as most of the exclusive stuff I want to play is on PS4, but you also can't just handwave away 6 terraflops.

 

Frozen Wilds reviews have me pumped

 

Frozen Wild reviews remind me that I need to play more than a dozen hours of Horizon.

 

Because my rationale behind it is crazy:

I'm an Xbox gamer and have been for years, meaning I have this library and I'm invested. I now also have a PS4 Pro however, which is technically the best platform I have for third party games now given that it is more powerful than my base Xbox. I don't want to buy anything but exclusives for it however, because I don't want to build two huge libraries and because I don't want to pay for two online subscriptions. I however also don't wat to buy third party games for the weaker of my two consoles. The solution? Buy a Xbox One X. My free PS4 Pro just cost me 500€. Thanks, brain.

 

I essentially did the same thing so I see how it seems crazy. I want my games to look the best they can and I can afford it, so why not? Not everyone can and it sucks.
I think people forget at times that it’s the luxury edition of a console and Microsoft is giving you the option to optimize your experience but you don’t NEED it.

 

The thing is I probably would not have gotten a One X (at least not now) if this free PS4 Pro would not have fallen into my lap. That's why I hate myself right now, haha.
