Anyone have any recommendations for new music/stuff from 2017 to listen to on my drive up to and down from LA this weekend? 2 hours each way. I'm running low on the records I've marked down to listen to at the moment.

I drive after 8pm to avoid the traffic. I've made it in 1:45 before! I might just put on one of my top albums in case I'm not feeling the other stuff.

Yeah, AF scratches a very specific itch for pop-punk. Some damn fine singalong choruses on this new one.

I'm listening to Alex Lahey right now! Lol. Her album is in my top 20 for sure, so so so good. I'll add Iron Chic to my list.

 

Looking at your list, I’d advise revisiting Andrew McMahon, Bleachers, War On Drugs, and Wolf Alice.

And if you like experimental heavy music, the new collaboration album by The Body and Full of Hell is pretty weird but also pretty great.

 

Yeah, Alex Lahey is great, might crack my top 10. I wish it came out a little earlier, would’ve been a great summer record!

 

Those are actually the ones I haven't listened to yet, but for some reason have been putting off. I'll probably listen to at least one of those this weekend.
