So is it me or can you not sprint in the new COD? Like they tell you to sprint up the beach but the sprint doesn’t work. What the actual fuck?

 

Largely the same - it's a little faster and I feel like it encourages going out guns blazing, double wielding instead of the stealth/shooting compromise the last one balanced.

i had the best halo night in years last night. played reach and i walked out of a game of swat with 28 kills and 3 deaths, it was pathetically invigorating

 

halo reach remains my favorite multiplayer title of all time, the amount of fun i've gotten out of it over the last seven years is unparalleled

 

How is the multiplayer? Better than the last four or five games?

 

The Halo Reach Combat Evolved DLC was some of the most fun I’ve had playing video games. Never really was that into Reach itself though.

i have played it a little via my college roommate, but since then MCC came out and i've just played halo ce multiplayer on that.

question: wasn't the reach ce dlc quarantined off into it's own playlist? that was my biggest turn-off. if the maps were also mixed in to team slayer etc i would've been much more interested (and i'd go home and buy it tonight)

Yeah it was it’s own playlist. I can’t remember how many maps there were but it was something like 7 or 8. It had CTF and Assault thrown in with Slayer and all that and actually I think it also had a few other playlists.

Okay yeah I just googled it there were six maps and four playlists at one point.

last night i was blown away to see there were literally only 17 people playing Team Slayer. luckily it’s 8 person matches so i still had no issue getting matched up
