I really wish someone would interview just Matt (hello bias) but seriously, he's been pretty quiet in group interviews. It would be nice to hear him answer some of these questions and get a bit of a different perspective.

 

Yeah i was just about to write the same thing. They have talked a lot about Rabbit Hole, but they could do like with I Miss You and make the ballad a single. Especially if the label is choosing for them.

 

Completely agree.

 

I can't wait for Rabbit Hole to be released because I know @Brandon Allin, myself, and the rest of team ass kickers will be cheesing and going nuts. I expect so much hyperbole to be typed in this thread haha.

Edit: in terms of singles, I would expect the label to use Home Is Such A Lonely Place for sure.

 

I wouldn't call it bias. There's likely a reason why Mark and Travis are the only ones doing these, and it's probably because the band doesn't want Matt blasted with 8,000 questions about what it's like to replace Tom.

 

I bet they will release the new songs featured on the setlist before actually releasing the album.

 

I meant my bias of wanting to hear him speak, haha. But I think that would be silly considering he's got just as much experience with these things as they do. He can handle himself just fine.

 

I imagine he'll get thrown into the rotation soon. They're gonna be doing a TON of press, it seems!

 

The SRC press is the 180g black that Kings Road has. Comes out to around $27 shipped vs. $32 shipped from KR. Still don't know Amazon's variant, but it's a safe bet that this 180g variant is the retail copy.

Just a curiosity, but this new album should even things once again regarding vocal percentages (Mark-Tom). I mean in the context of blink's whole discography...

 

I think Travis in one the radio interviews posted last night actually touched on this topic. He said Feldy was very good about mixing up and balancing Mark and Matt's vocals. I would expect more balance and probably more songs where the vocals are split, like BTD.

 

That's true. Because if you consider the number os songs released regardless of the band title they're under, Tom's definitely winning. Which makes me think that I'd much rather have had 5 +44 albums instead of 5 Angels albums.

 

I'm assuming a music video should be coming at some point

• New song released in May
• New Song released in June
• Live performance of 'Bored to Death' in a late show
• Interviews, interviews, interviews!

4th highest selling album right now on Amazon. That's pretty good for a pre-order for an album 2 months away.

 

I really like hearing him speak, he did some in that morning Kroq interview but he seems genuinely into the project and making it the best it can be.

Done with Buddah and Cheshire Cat. A couple thoughts. Carousel is perfect. Wasting Time is great. Carousel is the best. I might be alone in this, but Romeo and Rebecca live would be fun. Carousel is the greatest.

 

I just want to see 'A New Hope' live.

 

Carousel and Wasting Time are such good punk rock songs. Wasting Time was always a favourite of mine.
