Man, this is so long between lead single and the record dropping. Last time around, I'd listened to 'A Wonderful Life' so much it almost felt out of place on Painkillers (note: this didn't stop that from becoming one of my favorite albums ever).

I'm really gonna try to not listen to singles this go around. February 9 is so, SO far away though.

The worst venue in Minneapolis, but I'll be there anyway.

Will be there in London. Album art seems pretty cool.

Here's the tracklist. This album is way better than Painkillers (which I did like). The production is a bit more raw and it has more of a rock n roll feel. I find myself feeling like if you took the vibe and pace of The 59 Sound and the instrumental freedom of The Horrible Crowes you would end up with Sleepwalkers.

HOLY FRIGGIN' LORD, how have you heard it already? And how on Earth can it be that much better than Painkillers? That's a damn near flawless record.

Would you say that Horrible Crowes is a better representation of how this sounds overall, or the single released so far?

Does he play gaslight and horrible crows songs live?

Either way, I have to be there.

With two solo Fallon records at this point, along with a backup band name change (it was Brian Fallon and the Crowes before) I do wonder how many Crowes songs he'll play. It'd make more sense to just have 15 or 16 songs from Painkillers and Sleepwalkers, in my opinion. Maybe throw a cover in there like he always does, and maybe a song or two from Elsie.

I am very lucky and thankful to have it and I loved Painkillers, I just feel Brian gels more with Ted Hutt (produced 59 Sound), and I personally think that since this is his second solo, he prpbably didnt have as much pressure from himself or the label. Keep in mind prior to Painkillers, we heard a lot of those songs ahead of time through his Molly and The Zombies project and rough solo recordings. This album is all new tracks. I would say the single released is kind of a good representation of 1/3 of the album. "Come Wander With Me" I think has elements of the whole record. As I kind of said before this is more Horrible Crowes than anyg
    thing else.
