New Donk City is nuts....so much to do!

 

Yes, all the shrines, upgrades, 900 korok seeds, trial of the sword... everything.

Pretty sure other people in the Breath of the Wild thread also did it.

I enjoyed the exploration for the Korok seeds but Odyssey is proving to be less tedious and just way more challenging to 100%. Odyssey has much better rewards for continuing post game too.

 

Was starting to get a little disappointed in just how easy some of the moons are. But then I realized there could just as easily not be a moon there and it would feel just as complete of a game. Plus I've been doing a lot of new kingdom exploring. Moon rate will certainly slow down a lot after I get all the low hanging fruit.

Just unlocked metro kingdom, but think I want to finish the story missions in the other kingdoms I've unlocked first.

 

Fuck that area of the luncheon kingdom where you have to jump on all the rotating parts

 

^ yeah that bit was so frustrating, I tried to do that so many times and eventually gave up (prob didn't help I was watching tv at the same time lol). I will try and go back to it now I've completed the game though.

 

I finally got it after dying a shit ton of times. Honestly what helped me was when I slowed down and stopped freaking out and trying to sprint through it.

 

The quest in New Donk is so good (collecting four things). The end result is awesome. I just stood there and watched Mario for a while just laughing.

 

Regular ground pounds didn't work for me either so I did a spinning jump with a spiral ground ground and it worked (don't know if that has a actual name or not..)

 

The most disappointing thing about this game is that you can’t play as the only other character with a permanent companion from Cap Kingdom

I'm at about 350 moons right now and hope to one day 100% it. I'm not going to stress about it, but as everything is getting harder, it's going to be good to pick it up and just hammer out a part until I get it

 

You sir, are impressive. So many korok seeds lol.

 

There are an absurd amount of smile inducing moments in this game. Getting the moon in the movie theater was a great one in New Donk.

 

I’m struggling to get that last moon shard and it’s annoying me so much loved old game in the theater though :)

 

Has anyone done the sheep herding in the wooded kingdom “bonus game” area? I’m about to break my controller.

 

there's a movie theater in NDC? lmao I have some more exploring to do

 

I had to look up how to get that one today. I don't feel bad for sort of cheating because it's not obvious at all.

I got the second sheep pretty easily, but the one that spawns at the beginning of that area broke me.

Speaking of the Wooded Kingdom, falling off the edge of the map and assuming I was dead, only to land in a totally new area, was such a nice surprise.

 

The best part is how you don’t see the T Rex at first but you can hear something walking around. First time in a Mario game I was slighty creeped out haha

 

Did not discover this until exploring post game. So great. This game just keeps on giving.

 

Lol THIS. I know my 26 moons in NDC barely scratches the surface but I totally did not find a movie theater.

 

I fucking hate the sheep, aggravating little sons of bitches

 

Just hit 400 moons. Cleared Cap, Cascade, Cloud and Ruined Kingdoms completely. Gunning for 100% completion.

 

I got to to what I think is the last kingdom last night, told myself I won't go until I get to 200 moons and I did just that. will probably beat the story tonight or tomorrow.

 

The purple coins ruin my life.

 

Been wondering, do you get an achievement moon in Mushroom Kingdom for collecting all the purple coins for different kingdoms?

 

You get one for all souvenirs/ costumes so basically
