After three listens, I think I like it better than AWLWLB but it still hasn't eclipsed Axe to Fall yet. The first five tracks on that are an unfuckwithable combo that's neigh impossible to top, but this has some individual tracks that compare well - Arkhipov Calm, Murk & Marrow, and Broken By Light specifically. Cannibals and Eye of the Quarrel are also awesome.

Petitioning The Empty Sky and When Forever Comes Crashing are worth a listen. Sometimes they still play The Saddest Day.

 

This makes me think of the "Conduit" video they put in the Long Road Home. Complete fucking chaos.

nah i really do struggle with myself a lot and, as my therapist has told me, i use "aggressive irony and pessimism" to cope with it. her words, not mine. nothing to be sorry about. check out The Used thread to see people actually being assholes about it and not being able to take a joke.
