Well I couldn’t imagine that women would ever feel uncomfortable on the set of Entourage

 

remember when Jeremy Piven left a signed DVD of Entoruage at Nobu as a tip instead of money

 

In high school/early college I really enjoyed the first few seasons of Entourage. It is one of my great shames.

I’ve never seen it, but when I worked at the theatre we had the movie and it was a disgrace

 

My sophomore year of high school I thought Scarface was the coolest thing in the world. That is also a great shame.

Entourage seemed to be highly regarded at one point which is interesting, I always felt bad for Lloyd

 

Entourage came out at a time when HBO was making so much amazing television (The Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, and Curb Your Enthusiasm were all on the air at that point) so it benefited from that tide lifting the boats. Vincent Chase has to be the least interesting "main character" in television history.

 

I remember being at a friend's house and they put on Entourage, so I left and went to the billiard room and played pool alone.

 

Yeah I think it benefited from being on and getting popular a couple of years before TV actually got really good. It would be destroyed now if they put it out as a new show. It’s so ridiculously sexist

 

Entourage is poisonous television

 

I love that no one questioned that his name was Turtle and that he was named after Mark Wahlberg's friend named Donkey, I would insist on calling him Sal

This is the foreseeable future for Hollywood.

Going to AFI Fest again this year and seeing 4 movies in one day.

Mary and the Witch's Flower (Meari to majo no hana) - Japanese anime fantasy/drama, made with people from Studio Ghibli
Sollers Point - American-French drama
Spoor (Pokot) - Polish crime/drama/mystery
Good Manners (As Boas Maneiras) - Brazilian fantasy/horror

Was seeing if maybe I could get tix to The Shape of Water or The Disaster Artist, but they're almost impossible to get and the lines for them would probably be ridiculous anyways.

Jealous you get to see As Boas Maneiras. I was hoping for it at TIFF but it wasn't in the line up. It won Special Jury Prize at Locarno, imo the most exciting festival of the year.
