Actually, it left a lot of questions unanswered. Why were you forced to go? How many times were you forced? Do you need help?

If I go there, it's for the Bloomin' Burger (burger with bloomin' onions). Very good, but agree I would not go there for a steak. Well unless it was free.

I've spent the last 3 hours going into a deep dive of 110 records in Salesforce(fun system for anyone familiar) verifying the content is all accurate. I've only gotten through 38 so far. At this rate I'll be out of work by 7-8

That's actually the only thing I go there for (but I don't even really like steaks)

The only thing I like about Outback is the drink name Wallaby Darned. Not the actual drink, just the name.

Well you've got good taste in burgers then, but reported for your comment on steak.

Just kidding I'm not actually that passionate about steak.

Wrecked 'em? Damn near killed 'em!

I wouldn't say I was "forced" haha for 2 years I did door to door marketing/sales, and I would go out to neighborhoods with groups of 4 or 5 people in company cars. There were 2 or 3 times on our way out to a town/neighborhood where someone would have to go to the bathroom so the person driving the company car would stop at an Outback.

I had to do something similar last week (well not quite, but something where I had to look at a ton of individual accounts). My manager thought it would take me 4 hours, but it took a day and a half. Not sure what she expected when I had 2,000 individual lines of data to look at.

Anyone want to trade copies of Science Fiction? I have an extra red/blue (that I forgot I ordered from my local shop - haha) and would love a clear Urban Outfitters or white Australian copy. Forgive me - I'm not sure of the rarity of either but just wanted to give this vinyl a good home and thought a trade was worth more than a flip. PM me!

Pro: Today is my last day of work this week! 4 day weekend ahead!

Con: Tomorrow I’m getting something that rhymes with “basectomy”

Taking a sick day would just add double the work for me the next day. There's really no solution

All I will ever think about when I hear the word vasectomy is "you have no idea the physical toll that 3 vasectomies can have on a person".

    Masterpiece you say?

But seriously, it's 100% as good as it was on the first listen for me as well.

I ordered a medium-rare steak there once. They served it half rare, half nearly raw. My fiancee's food was lukewarm at best. So my feeling are not so good about Outback

Driving into work this morning I listened to Mount Eerie and felt all the feelings. He's not the most emotive singer but you can definitely feel the pain in his lyrics. He's very good at painting a picture and making you understand what he's going through and his process of grieving. If anyone has experienced the loss of a loved one, I highly recommend it. Even though I've never lost a partner like this, it's still very relatable to other losses in my life.

I want the indie variant but I don't have anything to trade. I'd buy it though.

I've been in this same position for about 5 weeks now. I've been working about 60+ hour weeks and still not finished with this stupid busy work project. and I have a feeling I'm going to finish it, it's going to test fine, then somebody higher up is going to say, "lets push this to next year". not looking forward to that day.

I mostly love working for a company that doesn't have/has unlimited sick and vacation days. The drawback though is that unless you get a co-worker to handle/cover something for you while you're out – which is easier with pre-planned vacations vs. spur of the moment sick days – you just come back to more work, plus the new work coming in.
