Dodgers win in the 11th, 6-5.

My brother is super nervous. He told his wife several years ago that if the Dodgers win the WS they can try to have a baby girl. She remembers and is holding him to it.

Yea honestly same. I like to challenge the idea of "unlimited breadsticks & salad" and try to be the guy that they do lose money on.

 

I think the Dodgers win in a close game.

I don't really care who wins, to be honest. I'm just glad the series made it to a 7th game!

 

I predicted at the beginning of the series that if it got to 7 games it would go to the Dodgers. I'm sticking by that (unfortunately), with a 7-6 score.

 

Except I don’t think Yu Darvish will make it to the 6th.

If the Dodgers are up by at least 2-3 runs in the 8th inning, and Kershaw hasnt pitched yet, does he get the save opp or does Jansen?

 

I would guess it'd be Jansen

 

my guess is Jansen too, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Kershaw on the mound in the 9th either.

 

Good to know that this album is living up to its instant classic tag. Finally playing it since last week and yeah it's still a Masterpiece with a capital M for me and it makes me so happy to be able to say that about a Brand New record again. #blessed

 

But he said he’s ready to pitch 27 innings tonight haha

 

I was listening to the Indieheads podcast about this album and they said it basicially the same way I felt it- I was expecting an album full of "I am a nightmare"-esque songs and that would've been just okay. What we got wasn't just okay, it's immaculate. Like, it's almost unfair how good this album is and how they released it.

 

we'll see though. like i said it was just guesses.

I do think we see kershaw somewhere in the middle of the game. if it's close in the 9th I expect to see jansen but with a super duper short leash. like 1 baserunner short. in which case I think they go the matchup route.

I think darvish goes 4 1/3 they bring in some middle reliever when he gets in trouble in the 5th, then kershaw comes out to start the 6th. goes 2 innings,

8th I don't know who their bridge guy is,

9th jansen.


this is all dependent on it being a very close game.

 

How do we feel about outback?

 

Haven't been there on purpose since 2011. At that time it was for a get-together to celebrate a friend making it through AA. From what I remember the food was decent though.

 

Would never got there for the steak

Their bloomin' onions are a nice treat from time to time though
