Passing out candy is exhausting!!!

 

My daughter is pretty excited to be passing out candy haha

I took her out for about 40 minutes while my wife passed out candy, but it’s pretty cold out and she asked to go home ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

The devil and dog are raging inside me

 

Except I decide to eat a ton as I’m doing it and then I go into a sugar coma

 

hows is everyones evening? just now hearing of the manhattan news here in long island...

Y'all are passing out candy while I'm trick or treating

I'm a mime even though I hate them but I already had the clothes and just needed to do the make up

 

only seen one family/group of trick or treaters tonight, kind of a bummer since I love the horrordays spirit... knda takes ya out a lil getting no one knocking on the door lol..

 

I was about 6’5” by the time I was 14 so my trick-or-treating days were done whether I liked it or not :/

 

Now I’m watching the door when me kids are sleeping. If the doorbell rings, it’s all over

 

i had a friend tell me one of the best ways to watch the original Halloween series was on Halloween mid-evening/early night as Trick or Treaters are peak/weening down and the highs and lows of the movie with the traffic of the trick or treaters adds to the feel. always wanted to try that, but we're a ghost town on all that lol..... more kit kats & 3 muskateers for me.

yeah if i was a kid id be mad i missed my house..... whys no one love me? ; ; lol jk

 

One year I set up some music to play outside, and I just took a snippet of The Flame Deluge by Thrice of Dustin screaming, and I just played that the whole time. Not a single trick-r-treater that year

 

Funny because that’s also your wedding song

 

Trick or treating just doesn’t seem to be as big of a deal as it once was. I remember being a kid and our entire neighborhood was packed with kids running down the sidewalk and up porches. Now my parents get only 10 kids tops stopping by. It makes me sad cause Halloween is my favorite

 

Kids these days are too busy playing on their fidget spinners and Minecraft.

Yeah, my brother was only out for like an hour

I remember going for 3-4 hours and had like 3 pillowcases full of candy

Those trunk-r-treats or “safe” Halloween events are pretty big deals, and always packed with people. I don’t remember having those when I was young.

 

Yeah and I feel like that’s hot regular trick or treating is dying out. But those trunk r treats aren’t near as fun!
