I was going to a show at the Masquerade one time that fell on the same day as a Braves and Falcons game, and there was a huge event at Atlantic Station going on. Traffic nightmare.

 

I even add jalapeneos to mine. Supreme still isn't enough.

 

I still need to catch a show in Atlanta one day. I've never been in town when there was someone I wanted to see. I usually just hang out in Little Five Points when I head into the city.

 

I saw Thrice/Manchester Orchestra at the venue in there, once. Always just kinda drove through it otherwise. My cousin lived near there.

 

My sister used to live like a block from Atlantic station until she moved to Sandy Springs.

Jealous! They host a tennis tournament every year and I'm an IKEA junkie, so all of those condos and townhouses are like my ideal situation. I could never afford that area unless I found a killer job.

 

Of all the shows I missed out on, the one that still kills me is Thrice/MO/O'Brother getting cancelled the day of, along with the rest of the tour, due to Dustin's dad being hospitalized. Of course, I totally understand why it happened and there's no hard feelings about it. Fun fact, TacyhonPython Evan called me up crying as I was about to head down to the venue to tell me it was cancelled.

Everywhere I've been in Little Five Points has been expensive as shit. I got a piercing in a shop there and I almost fainted at the price.

 

Is it actually worth going to IKEA? I've wanted to go to the STL location but I'm not sure it's worth the drive.

 

Anywhere I went never seemed unreasonable for like similar indie/artsy hole in the wall bars and stuff, compared to other similar neighborhoods around the country.

 

I'm really big on things matching, so having all of my postcards and paintings I bought in Europe be in identical frames was awesome for me. And despite the "cheap" prices, a lot of the things I've gotten from there hold up incredibly well. My mom uses a lot of stuff in the kitchen, too.

Trying to find your way around Ikea is really intense

 

I once got high freshman year before attempting to build an Ikea coffee table. It took me a entire afternoon.

I've never been to IKEA but they just announced that they're finally putting one in Milwaukee. They've been in talks for over a decade now. I'll probably drive down and check it out when it opens.

 

IKEA breakfast is delicious and ridiculously cheap.
