Mostly, yes. Some days are better (or worse) than others, and I know it can be tough not having much adult interaction all day. But she was working for a non-profit before they were born, so it didn't really make sense for us to just take her salary and give it to someone else. She was hoping to go back part-time, but that didn't really work out.

Their language has really started to grow in the last month or so. Lots more (attempted) repetition of sounds we make. And they just babble pretty much non-stop, especially my son. The doctor said that as long as we can tell their language skills are continuing to grow over the next 6 months, there's nothing to do or worry about.

 

thought about it more, and realized that would still make you look bad for not keeping the kid from opening the candy. haha.

my kids 4 so I can blame stuff on her.

We had trick-or-treating for kids at work on Friday. There was so much candy around, it was bad news.

My wife made us get fruit snacks instead of candy for trick-or-treaters this year. I hope our house doesn't get egged!

 

I have a bucket of it on the desk right in front of me. The trash bin to my right is littered with shiny rappers that once held tasteful treats that are now a giant conglomerate deep inside me.

 

Peanut butter is my favorite edible anything, so YES. Reese's has destroyed my abs countless times.

 

you should just give out eggs to cut out the middle man.

I am really bad with my blood sugar and I might go on the other side of campus just to get a candy bar.

 

I love them, but they're definitely more of an adult version of candy.

just a spoonful of peanut is better than butterfinger.

 

Reeses is better, however that's not a fair comparison. That's the best candy bar in existence.

Also, a spoonful of peanut butter is glorious as well.

Surely i'm not the only one tired of seeing the term Yank used in here right? Normally I am not annoyed by it, but when it's clear that the same user saying it means it in a derogatory sense I get fed up.
