I think we can all agree that kicking people while their down is a pretty universally shitty thing to do. If that's over sensitive, so be it.

 

That wasn't his intention. What does he have against Emma? It was a dumb mistake. Hes young. How about instead of isolating and talking down to a younger kid indirectly on twitter just to make your own persona look good and feel better about yourself, you reach out to him and give him some advice quietly and leave your soapbox mentality at home?

I'm not going to advocate for the pack mentality of the internet, but c'mon.

 

I think all these wrestlers speaking up about it are more offended than Emma is herself just because it's the 'right thing to do'.

Not saying it was right. Just looking at it from a different angle. I feel bad for the guy.

I don't like to look at things in black and white. The KID made a mistake. His intentions weren't to say fuck you Emma I hate you. There is a valuable learning lesson in it for him if the wrestling world doesn't completely suffocate him. This was a TWEET. Thats all this was.

We don't disagree entirely, but I don't see how this isn't a clear cut issue on this. He was in the wrong, he should be treated as such. The pack mentality that happens with public outcries are also rough. Both sides of the coin can happen at the same time. It just come across as if you're bending over backward to defend him, though I understand your point.

Yeah for some reason I naturally like to defend those who are pigeon holed like this. I'm not sure why, I think it's because I know his intentions weren't bad at all and he is just 22 and we know he aint sleepin well tonight for this shit. Does he deserve that? I don't know. I don't think so.

 

Yeah, I have sympathy for him. It doesn't excuse anything and it's a shitty thing to do. But I'm sure people in here remember me on AP and the awful things I said on that site in my early-20's, I definitely would've said something similar. I would've also been wrong.

 

Should he lose sleep thinking about the mistake he made? Sure. That’s pretty much how he should learn his lesson. Realize he made a dumb mistake and be more careful/professional next time around. Should he be ostracized from the wrestling community and have this affect his place in NXT? No. That seems a little too severe.
