Oso Oso is in my top, as well. That, Phoebe Bridgers, and Japanese Breakfast will probably be my top 3.

That Rolling Hills Asylum place I went to with my wife Friday night was absolutely terrifying

Haha! Funny you should say that, my girlfriend has a knack for picking B rate horror movies as well, this being one of them. I can concur it is not good.

That's a good way of looking at it. I've made my peace with the friends i've lost over the years. Now for me it's much much about the quality of friendships as opposed to the quantity. I can count on one hand my closest friends.

A big part of my shift in my social life was moving away from home for 4 years. It amazes me how small the locals and people I grew up with think the world is. When you don't live here, you don't exist to these people. It's very close knit, everybody knows everybody and everyone's details of their life to the point where it's judgemental with a hint of classism.

I absolutely could never live in a small town. I'm thankful for San Diego because I see new people anywhere I go.

Interesting. I haven’t seen it, but IIRC, it was very well received in the horror thread

I thought it was poorly acted with a bad premise and really corny! @carrytheweird summed it up accurately by saying she picks bad b-rate horror movies haha

Some of the graphics are OK. I will say that i've seen worse, but that's really the best compliment i'd give it.

Philly changed my life and me as a person. Ever since i've just wanted to travel and see how differently people live in all other parts of the world.

I can so relate to that. I moved away from my hometown after elementary which was a big thing for me. Tried to stay in touch with my childhood friends throughout high school but eventually we just stop talking and hanging out. It's tough when you don't live in the sams city and were used to hanging out almost everyday. The funny thing is now most of them live in the same city as me but we don't talk. It's all good though goes back to what I was saying about having made my peace with it.

Yep. It’s pretty a pretty silly movie to watch and think those to be viable theories, but it just proves how captivating The Shining is and when seen through the lens of “this is about how obsessive people become about this movie” it’s pretty fascinating.

I know very little about it, but from the small rod bits I have heard, I think that may be the point. I’m interested in checking it out now.
