Just got to the Lake Kingdom, and it's everything I hoped for so far.

 

Made it to Sand Kingdom and to the top of the tower.

I’m in love.

 

My copy just arrived, and I have no other plans today.

 

Sitting in the Best Buy parking lot waiting for them to open.

 

Super jealous.

 

played for an hour last night in cascade and got 16 moons. Like it so far but some of it is like, trivially easy. I know its the first world but all footage ive seen from further worlds looks about the same. Do you guys find it gets much more difficult?

 

yes but not overly challenging, which I'm very okay with. from what I've heard though the real challenge is in the post game content once you complete the "story".

 

I hope thats the case. The moveset in this game is ridiculous and it would be a shame if they didnt take advantage of that.

 

I love the moves, they're so fluid.

the challenge also comes from looking at a map of a kingdom and seeing they have 40+ moons and thinking "where the hell did they put these things?"

 

Yes, from what I understand there's a lot of fairly challenging content in the post-game (and there's a lot of post-game stuff).

That reminded me of my one other issue with the game so far. Going through the cascade kingdom the second time, there was a ton of extra stuff added into places that I had thoroughly explored already. Does this happen pretty often or is it a once per kingdom kind of deal? I searched everywhere I could think of in cascade but Im not sure if there are a bunch of other moons stuck behind progress gates or if they are just super well hidden, haha.

 

The coin you get from pre ordering at Best Buy is really fucking cool.

 

Just got the Mario and Peach amiibo. They can't find the game at Target for some reason?

 

I just made it to Cascade Kingdom in like ten minutes lol oops

I have played for like 2 hours so far and I'm already sad this game will eventually end

 

Oh wow now I’m already in the Sand Kingdom, I feel like I’m moving really fast

 

Those first two are just really short. Sand Kingdom takes awhile

 

on the contrary, my girlfriend will be hogging it and I'll be able to use the computer haha

Yeah I mean can we talk about how fucking awesome the snapshot mode is? I seriously love it.

 

where is the backwards hat?

 

I also feel like it’s moving really fast. About to finish sand kingdom and probably already have 35 or more power moons. How do you get the ones really high up where there isn’t anything around to jump up?
