i still know waaaaay too many guys who refuse to do it and think its gross.

Because hair on women is seen as "gross." They watch too much porn aimed at men where women's pleasure isn't a factor, it's all about pleasing the man and being an object for their pleasure, and their bodies are all hairless. My theory anyway lol.

 

i am #blessed that my mom is a cosmetologist so i've always had access to free salon grade shampoo, conditioner, hair products, and never have had to pay for a haircut. unfortunately, my hair is starting to thin and i've got a few bald spots coming in so it was all for naught.

I don't really know what you mean by "ethical porn" but I'm sure there is.

Plus I'm sure it also depends on where you draw the line ethical so it's pretty relative I'd imagine

 

There is porn not specifically aimed at men that doesn't promote unhealthy sexual relationships I suppose

 

I mean. You can make your own videos with someone (consensual). That’s technically ethical porn.

 

There are ways now where you can support sex workers directly for their content.

I think there's a bit of a snowball effect at play too. I didn't watch a much porn at all as a teen, but my early sexual relationships were all with women who kept things pretty trim (probably for the reason you said). The first time I went to bed with someone who wasn't, it came as a bit of shock. In hindsight, I was a shitbag about it. A decade(ish) on, I'd have some very stern words for myself.

 

I didn’t masturbate or orgasm from May 2016 until June 2017 and tbh I didn’t notice much of a difference other than having, like, extra time. Granted, I was kind of a wreck then for different reasons, so any positive effects would have been indiscernible. Despite having the experience I don’t think I can say much about it. Things only changed because I got into a relationship, so I’m probably happier because of that and not necessarily because I’m tugging it again

Had to practice some serious self control last night.
