I have an album that will make you cry again. And it’s more sad than any album ever. And it came out this year.

Now we can start the "It came out in 2016!" "It came out in 2017!" debate again. Thanks

I've listened to it twice only because of how hard it is to get through.

A Crow Looked at Me is the eighth studio album by Mount Eerie, the solo project of American musician Phil Elverum. The album is a concept album about the death of Elverum's wife, the cartoonist and musician Geneviève Castrée

Fuck. I'll need to listen to it when the time is right. I still can't listen to Stage Four by Touche Amore too often

I promise I'll check it out. Actually it's on Prime right? They allow you do download episodes so I could watch it on lunch for the next week or so. It's only 6 episodes, yeah?

It’s a really beautiful album, but also the saddest album I’ve ever heard by quite a long shot

Yes, really! Look up the Song Exploder episode with him on it and he describes his writing process.

Also 2 years ago I sat next to him while watching a Shakespeare play and then we talked in the lobby while he was eating an ice cream sandwich

Yeah, if you can't listen to Stage Four that often, this one will wreck you.

I still call my mom almost in tears every time I listen to Stage Four. This record will be a tough one looks like.
