I'm a big fan of Five Guys for sentimental reasons

Also the food is pretty good

They're each others equivalent on the coasts, similarity or nah. I know Texas had their own big burger chain too, my ex use to tell me about one that was at least around Houston. Forgot the name. Like the three coast variants.... some ppl like got legit beef over the vs. with em..... never been that serious.

 

They aren't analogs in the least. Five Guys is a dine in place where the burgers are $8 and a combo will run you like $15. In N Out is a drive thru and half the price

 

Shake Shack is definitely closer to In-N-Out (and Culvers) than Five Guys in terms of deliciousness and quality. Elevation burger is better than five guys too.

 

Lol don't shoot the messenger I'm just saying how people see it. I've been around too much of those back and forths since all my friends are in NY, CA, or TX almost exclusively, aside from the few in the DMV and ATL area haha.
