Didn’t think anyone would still remember Leeds.

 

Man, that Leeds team at the time was stacked. Alan Smith, Mark Viduka, Harry Kewell to name a few.

 

Didn't Leeds get to the CL Semi-Finals around that time? 2003 or so? Rio was there too during that era before United bought him.

The icing on the cake is those embarrassing lot at Ibrox being 1-0 up, having a penalty in injury time - their midfielder getting sent off, they missed penalty and then Kilmarnock equalised 1-1

Just finished the last installment of Class of '92: Out of their League. Fun little four-part documentary. Gary Neville says there will be a third season as well.

 

Everyone remembers my Leeds side in FM12. Beat Derby by scoring in the dying minutes of the final match to go up to the Premier League on the boot of Lacina Traore who had just returned to the squad after a two-month holiday for being homesick. What a year.

 

I remember when in my FM 16 game Lacazette got homesick before a champions league final against Atletico and demanded to go home for three weeks. I let him and won it without him. Dick.

 

Happened to me the other day too - Javi Martinez was "homesick" so I let him go home, less than 24 hours later he's asking Bilbao to put a bid in for him, 24 hours after that he's gone for about £2.5million despite being worth £15-20million!!!

I'm approaching 275 hours played on FM17 now too

Sometimes I love the fake transfer rumors that come out of nowhere. Especially today’s “Iniesta and Rakitic formed a bloc against Coutinho.” Yeah, that’s totally how Andres has handled anything ever.

I don't get why managers do stuff like that. Unless the player is being a pain in the arse, I don't understand why you'd be so unpleasant, just because you don't want to pick them in the team?
