Originally from Plymouth, MA and now residing in Woburn. Excited to chat with some other locals.

Anyone going to any good shows this summer? I have Pinegrove at Mid East, David Bazan at Sinclair, and Dr. Dog in Lowell so far. Debating on Nada Surf and few others as well.

There's probably some other good ones that I'm missing too. Boston has been getting some really good shows recently!

catching the hotelier/told slant/loone at the sinclair, mitski at brighton music hall, also i finally saw ted leo for my first time ever at paradise rock club last night and cried a lil

 

Oh nice! Do you like it here? My wife have noticed a younger crowd as of late which is exciting. I don't go out downtown too often, but I frequent Horn Pond. It's my favorite spot here.

 

They're the best and so fun live! I've seen them at paradise before and it was great, but I sort of hate seeing shows there so I'm still not sure.

Matthew Caws was a part of the Devinyl Splits show that Kevin Devine put on at the Sinclair back in December. I went up to Matthew after and was completely star struck. I was just a babbling idiot. Haha

Also, I saw your post about your blog in the self promotion thread. Definitely going to keep an eye on it!

 

I got to see Ted back in 2005 for the first time and it was great. Hope you enjoyed!

 

Are Moose Blood playing at Out of the Blue? I need to start seeing more shows there. I played a solo set there last fall and it's definitely a cool room to play. I've never seen an outright full band play though so I was never sure how it'd sound.

I really want to go to the Friday night Pearl Jam show at Fenway.

 

I don't have much on my plate really. Seeing Bill Burr in Portland, ME in June, Brand New/Modest Mouse and then Zac Brown Band at Fenway.

 

I'm from Portland but I'll come in Boston once or twice a month to visit friends.

 

It's a decent place, I actually lived in Woburn until I was 9 so I'm familiar with the area. Basically we just needed somewhere cheaper, because the city is crazy expensive. But it's not bad, there's an express bus that runs from Woburn center into Boston that I take to work.

Also just so you know, you can hit "quote" instead of "reply" to select multiple posts, that way you can reply to all of them in one post instead of making a bunch of individual replies.

 

My girlfriend and I visited last year, and we can't wait to come back in June. Really love your city.
