The Snowman is getting wrecked by critics. Bummer.

I think it’s quite cleverly done throughout, but has a few confusing twists and characters there to throw you off the scent. The ending is poorly done. Just when I thought I was in for a tense last 20 minutes it ended 5 minutes later.

I have MoviePass so I’ll still see it, but hearing the director say that he didn’t get to film 10-15% of the script was jaw-dropping.

I’ve been stoked since I heard the premise last year, the posters are great, and the director is my man, but holy hell was that trailer from a few months back just bafflingly awful

Just watched “The Lost Tree” with the dude who was the kid in “Rookie of the Year”. It might be the worst movie I have ever seen in theatres. Horrible acting from the very first scene on. The sound mixing is garbage. The CG makes SyFy original movies look good. The camera work, don’t get me started. I am amazed that this was funded and even given a limited release.

Yeah that’s why I chose to give it a shot. I’m guessing there are only a couple reviews out. It’s so bad. It takes itself very seriously and just falls flat.

    Thiughts on Rob Zombie’s stuff?

  10. It's mostly grindhouse revival/B-movie homage stuff. Pretty good up until Lords of Salem

Watched The Houses October Built today. It was okay. Main cast was decent, I liked the interview portions with the haunt actors, but I was underwhelmed by the climax/ending portion.

I planned a horror marathon with a friend and she insisted we watch the When A Stranger Calls remake first, and I was like ugggh fine we'll watch it and then watch a good movie afterwards. But she was too sleepy to watch another so I just watched that smh!!

I genuinely love his Halloween remakes (first one is certainly miles ahead the 2nd).

That first one is in my October rotation every year and think it’s one of the best “slasher” movies. Mike Myers terrified me as a kid so I’ll appreciate anything with him that’s relatively decent!

I don't think I like Rob Zombie. But I've also only seen The Devil's Rejects

Just watched Hounds of Love for the first time. Very good.

Has anyone seen The Berlin Syndrome? Thought about checking it out next.

I enjoy most of his movies. Lords of Salem without a doubt his best. It’s fantastic. Enjoyed both Halloween films. 31 had plenty of potential, but just fell short.

It’s like a more tepid version of Hounds of Love. I wouldn’t recommend it, personally

Love everything about Zombie's movies except the latest. I wish there were proper BD releases of House/Rejects

Well that is all twelve Friday the 13th films done and apart from three of them I hated every moment of it. I feel dumber and slightly depressed after such an experience.
