That Travis interview was pretty good.

Since they have recorded big amounts of material, I was kinda hoping an EP at a later date would be the case. Crossing my fingers for it to happen.

For the first time, hearing Travis, I felt he is genuinely on good terms with Tom, which is nice to know. Sure there is a huge disconnection and some beefs between then, but it seems like at their heart they like each other.

 

I was also at this show. This is the last time they played "Adams Song" live. I think.

 

how about we get an EP this month in preparation for the album, fellas?! haha

Yeah Mark obviously had a tough time getting through that show. As soon as they finished they booked off stage and who could blame them. Like I say, lucky they played. I know they cancelled a couple right after that.

 

Yep, a handful of shows ended up getting rescheduled for later on in the tour.

Interesting take on Tom.

I totally see something happening within 5 years where they all reconnect. Tom would have to really be into it though. I doubt Mark and Travis would allow any half-assing.

A foursome with Skiba could be really cool.

For the time being, I think we are getting a great era of blink. The power and energy just seem to slightly pick back up where 2003/2004 ended for these guys. Not completely, but the power and energy is so much greater than it was for the 2009 reunion.

 

Mark looks so pensive in that vid when she asks Matt if he's officially in the band haha.

 

5 days later and I can't seem to take BTD off of repeat. I was so afraid that I'd be hooked on it the first day and that it'd fade into oblivion after a night of listening, but I can't get over how good it is. Blink is here to stay.

 

Not that I ever see this happening, but I would be unbelievably pissed as a fan if this band ever welcomed Tom back if it meant replacing Skiba.

 

Yeah I'm gonna wait for a whole album before I even come close to a definitive statement like that

 

It has nothing to do with their sound with Skiba. Under no circumstances would I respect the decision to boot the guy who stepped in when someone didn't want to be there, only to replace him with the guy who left in the first place.

That aside, there is approximately a 0% chance I like California less than Neighborhoods/DED. Bored to Death is my favorite Blink track since Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.

 

Well you didn't say anything about Mark and Tom "booting" Matt, haha. Yes that would be rude to kick him out of the band to bring back Tom, if that's what your comment was alluding to

 

I figured it was assumed. I don't see Skiba ever willingly leaving a band this successful, haha.

I mean, the guy did say "I can definitely say I have the best job in the world, especially now playing with these guys."
