Ah! That's so funny

 

Someone should make a documentary about the growing insanity of aTom

 

He does legit have a problem, I believe.

 

I wonder how real that number actually is or maybe it's just Tom throwing some of his own money into it to make it look more than it is. I just can't see that many Tombots throwing money (a $200 minimum) at him without getting something back in return of actual value.

 

Never underestimate the power of a Tombot

 

Besides the fact that he has to look over his shoulder all the time because he's about to expose the US government and really the whole world that aliens exist and it's being kept a secret?

I miss the old Tom for sure. Especially after listening to so many old bootleg concerts.

I always hate how people complain about the way blink sound live. Going to a blink concert wasn't about expecting them to perform well, it was about having fun and enjoying the moment. Part of the charm of blink back in the day was knowing that weren't the best musicians in the world and thus being able to fantasize about how if they could do it why not me and my friends?

 

I mean, he didn’t, but it’s something he’d do

 

Can we call the documentary To The Stars...

 

It should be called In The Stars... Like, he's already out there. haha.

 

I always loved that about them. What ruined that for me is when Tom rejoined the band claiming he "learned to sing" and decided to yodel and slur every word to the point where it sabotaged the songs. I think there was a pretty big difference between being sloppy and straight up trying to ruin your own songs lol but yeah, live I always had a good time and didn't really notice how bad he sounded.

 

Yeah I think there's a big difference from the concerts they put on pre 2004 and post 2009. There was an obvious lack of effort/caring and it was clear there wasn't a lot of chemistry between Mark and Tom. I was mostly talking about before the first break up where it truly didn't matter that Tom and/or Mark would hit the wrong note or sang the wrong words.

 

Yeah for sure! I know what you mean - before when they were just a little sloppy, it was endearing, almost. They also always talked openly about how bad they were and it was funny. When Tom started acting like he was a musical genius, it lost a little bit of its appeal lol

 

The banter between them was great, you could tell that they were best friends and having fun on stage just playing music and goofing off. But yeah once Tom tried to be a serious artist things definitely changed. Even during their Untitled album tour cycle there was very little back and forth between the two compared to the others tours, I just chalked it up to them wanting their performance to reflect the new darker songs from that album but it was probably just between they didn't like each other anymore.
