This Factory crowd is one of the worst fucking crowds I've ever been in

Part of me wants to go to a third show on Monday... idk is that overkill also I have to work Tuesday morning and would be functioning on maybe 3-4 hours of sleep

this is why i am excited for the seated brand new show, no dealing with shitty crowds

If the band played Seventy Times Seven in a seated venue I can almost guarantee some dude would start throwing elbows or try crowdsurfing.

Saw Brand New play a triple set once (Acoustic / YFW / Requests). They specifically played Sic Transit Gloria acoustic so people wouldn’t try and mosh. they still did.

So apparently they said at the Chicago show they would be back in Chicago within the next 14 months so that’s good news

I mean all indications point to them doing one final tour in 2018 so it's not really a surprise they will hit Chicago again, nice to get confirmation kind of though.

I am pretty certain they actually referenced coming back to Chicago more than once (they said something like "we'll see you several times over the next 14 months".

My guess is 1 festival performance and 1 more proper headliner, at least. Plus I'm sure I'll be able to make a Milwaukee date! There is plenty more Brand New left to see.

I'd bet on Riot Fest plus an aftershow and one last proper headliner in Chicago.

last night was my 5th BN show and by FAR the best. New songs sound incredible and Kevin kills it on third guitar and backup vocals. Venue was beautiful too I'm so glad I went

Anyone know what time doors open for the Baltimore show on Monday?

They added Tommy Gun to the setlist last night. Considering that was my only potential gripe with the setlist when they were at the Electric Factory, it's 100% perfect now. Hope it stays for Tower Theatre tomorrow.

The Boston show was enjoyable for this reason. There's still gonna be drunk people arguing with ushers and shit, but your interactions are going to be limited compared to GA shows.

I enjoyed the Boston show so much. I usually get a bit stressed at shows because my wife is 5 feet tall so we inevitably end up with a bunch of dudes pushing her around and she can't see. This was great though.

There was one guy who snuck up to our section and jumped in between these 2 girls in the row in front of me. He just told them to "shhh" and then started jumping around, basically forcing them out of their seats. I felt bad because they didn't know what to do, but people around weren't having it and started telling him to leave. Eventually the guy 2 seats over just grabbed him and pushed him back up the aisle. It was great.

Imagine thinking that's an appropriate thing to do.

I was thinking the same thing. What would give someone the impression that it's ok to just force someone out of the seats they paid for and then act like they're the good guy when people ask them to leave?

Reminds me of a Rise Against show I went to years ago. I was in the front row behind the pit and a couple guys walked right up next to us and wouldn’t leave. We were giving them shit and they were like “what are you gonna do, be pussies and tell on us?” And that’s exactly what we did lol. Then when RA came on and the lights went dark dozens of people flooded in front of us to hop over the guard rail into the pit. Ugh.

I think the saddest part is I'm not surprised. I'm sure he thinks it's ok cus that's how he behaves at a GA show. He thinks he's entitled.

I have to say I really had no problems with the crowd at the Chicago show. Idk what it was like towards the front, but where I was everyone was respectful.
