My wife loves Funkhouser and Richard Lewis.

I'm a huge Leon, and Susie fan.

Cheryl was better in the beginning of the show, than now.

Larry is by far the best character in the show though, if anyone is trying to say different!

 

The Larry & Leon dynamic is my favorite element in the later episodes. The banter between the two of them is always priceless. And there is nothing better than a full-on Susie verbal assault. The scene where Jeff & Larry return to the house after Susie finds they stole the doll head is one of the funniest moments across the entire series!

 

"Where's the fucking head" That elevates it to at least a top 10, possibly top 5 episode for me.

I was so excited when my wife watched it for the first time for her to get to the seasons with Leon. Leon instantly became a staple in the show

 

My girl loves Funkhouser and Richard too.

My fav is easily Larry though. Susie is a fav too.

 

I'm a Leon, Susie and Funkhouser fan, it's hard for me sometimes to not picture him as the surrogate but his voice is just comical as well.

Cheryl was great in the first few seasons, I'm glad they changed and brought in Leon because he steals every scene he's in.

richard lewis is good too, he's a little too serious for me in that show.

I think The Doll is easily in my Top 5. I was afraid the whole Leon arc would just be something that was kind of lame and wouldn't pan out, but it is a perfect fit. Leon's "Get in that ass" speech to Larry in The Lefty Call is classic. I honestly don't know how they ever get a single scene filmed without breaking down laughing.

 

For anyone who cares, my "custom title" I'm changing weekly to a line from the week's Curb episode.

That's why I like Richard Lewis. I think it's funny that he's so serious and he's always trying to make an emotional connection with LD, who he's been friends with most of his life. Yet knowing him that long, he should have given up on Larry a long time ago, but he doesn't and I think that's hilarious.

What about Ted Danson? I love the simultaneous mutual admiration and disdain he and Larry have for each other.

 

I love the one where Larry and Cheryl show up to a party on the wrong night as their way of getting out of it. Lol. So much awkward. Lol.

 

yeah I can see that. I started rewatching it last week. only 4 eps in so far so i'm only going from memory from the last time I watched them probably 5 years ago.

 

That one and The Freak Book episode when Larry interrupts Sammy singing the song are just so uncomfortable! But I love it!
