I laugh when people are like "Yeah that was a great Michael Jackson song."

Michael hates those people.

 

Finding a drummer is frustrating. Seems like good drummers are few and far between. Ours can't make this tour we have booked so we had to find a fill in. Then the fill in we found just found out he has to have emergency surgery and will need to be home to recover.

So back to square one of having a tour booked and no drummer I'm stressing

 

Just have someone play Cajon. That's what I did, haha @Robk

@Mr. Serotonin can they be made to sound like a full kit? cause if so it may become a last resort haha

 

Haha, no it's just snare and bass. When it's mic'd it sounds pretty booming though.

idk if that'd work haha we unfortunately have a few pretty demanding drum parts, which makes the search even harder.


That being said, if anyone here lives near Vegas and plays drums and might want to play a few shows in June feel free to pm me. I will be willing to pay anyone who is willing to put the work in with us.

Lebron surprised me in Trainwreck. But the concept of Space Jam is so dated, to me. Or I'm just out of the loop. Is Lebron known like Michael then, in terms of universal influence and popularity?

Yeah, I mean, I know he's probably one of the more well known, if not the most well known, players right now. I just remember the Jordan stuff was everywhere when I was a kid, which made the concept of the movie sensible. I don't follow the NBA and it's nowhere near my demographic, I'm just wondering if Lebron's "level" is similar to how massive Jordan's was then. Not that it really matter, cause it'll make money and that's really the only reason for green-lighting it in the first place.
