Honestly my favorite game ever.

 

I just beat the main story and my only complaint would be with how cinematic the game is in terms of the memories and so on, the ending was wildly disappointing. So short and just, meh.

 

I can see that. The story left a lot to be desired, but if we’re talking actual gameplay it’s my favorite. Story wise, i’d go with Ocarina.

 

IMO no addition to this series will top Ocarina.

 

Getting excited for the Story DLC. Wonder if we'll get another update on that before it comes out

 

Can’t wait for december. Hoping the DLC delivers.

 

It's 3 shrines. All on the plateau area you begin on. You can see them all from the top of the first tower and Mark them on your map after zooming in with the sheika slate.

That's Mario's whole shtick isn't it? haha

 

I think I stopped paying attention after so many Mario Party games. Everything looked like a variation of that.

 

wish these chests gave out shields as often as they gave out swords. i've got 15 weapon slots and they're all full but i can go a long time without filling all my shield slots

also, in the unlikely event the Hylian Shield breaks; is there any NPC in the game who can fix it?

 

I think I marked them last time, but one was kind of hard to get to… like, I may have needed to walk through some snow and I didn't have damn snow shoes. I'll definitely check out the walkthrough. I'm somewhat ashamed I have to rely on it, but I get home late most nights and I'd like to not be so intimated by the game that I don't play until the weekend.

 

there is a shrine on a mountain that requires either the warm doublet tunic or an abundance of torches you can carry to stay warm. I recommend obtaining the warm doublet, you need to cook a special dish for the old man and give it to him, and he will give you the tunic. i forget the ingredients but theyre all easy to obtain and you can run a quick google search to get the recipe.

 

Dude, it’s Zelda lol strategy guides are usually a must in order to get everything. We struggled just as much as you will be. I had to use a guide on 60 of the shrine locations.

Literally my first Zelda game, unless you count the gold cartridge game I had on the original NES as a kid – but I couldn't get past the first level (never asked anyone for help too, was too embarrassed). Mario always made more sense to me, but what I have played of this game, I've really enjoyed.

finally making my way up there when he was present was so freakin cool. he always seems to spawn when i'm halfway across the map.

 

You'll still have the December DLC, so it's not game over yet.
