dany is not in kings landing in the books, the books end with her where season five ended.

Oh, I thought she came and went.

The Greyjoys, Brienne and Jaime are the only ones with book material left.

Is the now dead, king or whatever Greyjoy's brother part of the book? People seemed to be surprised by this.

Balon dies before Robb and Joff in the books. They just extended it to make it convenient to the current plots. My guess is instead of adding Victarion, Balon's second brother, they are going to use Yara in his place.

We also didn't know for sure that Euron killed Balon, it was hinted and theorized about in the books but not actually shown until the show.

Yea, I liked that scene a lot.

  8. Ramsay is one of my favorite characters, but I imagine his time is almost over and probably will be killed in the next two or three episodes

Doubtful, isn't there still the battle of the bastards, or whatever it's called.

Don't read this unless you want show spoilers:

Jon Snow was spotted during filming donning Stark colors in the North...and Ramsay wants to take Winterfell...so if you put 2 and 2 together, there will probably be a fight and someone may die.

Re: Cersei, so in the books, she's arrested by the faith, eventually confesses to sleeping with Lancel and the Kettleblacks, but denies her role in the murder of Robert and the previous high septon. The shame walk was a mandatory penance to precede the trial against her. She chooses a trial by combat, and since she's the queen (regent) her champion has to be a Kingsguard, but with Jaime ignoring her letter requesting him, and lack of another viable option, she writes to Qyburn to have Robert Strong booted up and made Kingsguard and thus her champion

I think Ramsay will last a little while longer than that. Perhaps he'll be offed towards the end of the season. I imagine he will go through with his plan to storm Castle Black though. That might be what does him in.

Well since both Jamie and Strong are there, isn't it likely that Jamie could take up the mantle instead of Strong? Obviously it would make for great TV to have the Clegane's battle it out, but we first have to find The Hound and show his little story...unless it's just like hey it's trial time, guess who's back!? Then follow up with backstory.[\spoiler]

Or am I off base at assuming that?

Episode 3 will be the aftermath of Jon's resurrection. Episode 4 will likely be moving towards the battle with either episode 5 or 6 being the battle itself. With Ramsay gone, that would be the last major storyline in the north so it can't be over too quickly.

This is worth considering too. I do consider Sansa to be a major storyline in the North, but there'd be no conflict without Ramsay, which is why I don't see him dying for a little while.

It's also how I felt about Jon Snow. Obviously the big question among fans for nearly a year was "Do you think he's gonna come back" and I'd always tell friends "Yeah because there's nobody else interesting enough to show at Castle Black every episode otherwise."

Edit: As I typed this I forgot that Davos is still there, but I feel like the point still stands as Davos and Melissandre aren't a part of the Night's Watch and I can't imagine they'll stay there for very long.

Possibly but he still lost his dominant hand and isn't as capable a fighter anymore. Also she could see Strong as her ace in the hole as, to her understanding, killing someone who is undead is seemingly next to impossible. Either way, I think it'll end up being Strong, but idk how they're going to get there

    I'm Back.

True, but knowing Cersei, I could see her putting Jamie in there if he pisses her off or if they have a falling out. Might be far fetched, but still.

This is why Jaime's story in the show has been floundering for two seasons now.

Yeah possibly, but I thought I read somewhere that they were casting Septon Meribald, which means they'll maybe make it to the Quiet Isles where they would meet the Hound again, who would seemingly be the best choice as a champion for The Seven, cause at this point they don't have anyone who could match off-hand Jaime

Assuming her trial still happens, it's still going to be the Mountain. Jaime still has book plotlines to cover.

I don't want to see Sansa kill anyone. Its nice seeing one innocent person in this show.
