All this Golf Story and Stardew talk is really making me want to try them out but I'm so overloaded on games right now and then Odyssey

Day one sales of The Flame in the Flood on Switch have beaten all other formats.

Hoping headlines like these keep the high quality indies coming to the system. I'd be complaining about the lack of VC (I still want it) but I have way too much to play already.

 

saw this on the eShop yesterday, looks cool. might pick it up when, if ever, the releases slow down for a little.

finished SWD2 right before Stardew, still need to go through all of Golf Story. I think I'm about halfway through it and I love it but Stardew is just too consuming.

 

not gonna lie. Feel super overwhelmed by Stardew already

 

Chuck Ragan of Hot Water Music did the soundtrack for The Flame in the Flood. It's awesome.

And I'm glad I played Golf Story before Stardew came out. Almost through my first winter!

Okay finally getting obsessed with Stardew.

 

Been going back and forth between Golf Story and Stardew Valley. Both are great so far but I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing in Stardew besides breaking stones and cutting branches

 

Something I wish I was more aware of in Stardew: how long seasons last.

Planted a shitload of seeds on Spring day 30, wake up to them all dead. Go me!

 

Haha! My wife has put like 200 hours into the game on PS4, so she's given me some essential tips. Sometimes it gets frustrating because she wants to tell me everything and I just want to experience everything myself.

 

There really isn’t much of a tutorial to help you out in SV. I went at least two weeks before I realized I could make a chest to store stuff in.

 

I think all of that discovery is part of what makes Stardew so great. I’ve been loving that game so far.

 

If you haven't played a lot of Harvest Moon it can't hurt to look up some beginner tips

 

Yeah the only things I've been asking my wife is like "should I sell _______ or hang on to it?". I love the game because it doesn't make you feel rushed. I don't feel like I need to hurry up and get married, or hurry up and get to level 50 of the mines. The game does a fantastic job of letting you know that ALL this stuff is there to do, but you can take your time to do it. I've only just finished spring year 1, but I haven't even really touched the social aspect of the game. I talk to people, but I haven't really bothered figuring out which gifts everyone likes. I'm just tryna make a dope farm, and I'll figure out the relationship stuff later.

 

Physical copies of NBA 2K18 are out tomorrow. Hopefully.
