Damn bummed i missed out on the post-hardcore talk. I really should get some sleep but does anybody remember Far-Less? Also I don't care what anyone says Scary Kids Scaring Kids self titled is an excellent fucking record.

Also @KidLightning my gf tried Lagunitas IPA today she thought it was ok. The restaurant at the hotel is independently owned and operated, it's called Southern Cut BBQ and it's hands down the best hotel restaurant ive ever ate at.

 

Lol, can’t believe I went to that show for $14. What a steal.

 

I saw Far-Less tour A Toast to Bad Taste and it was so damn good. I felt like that was the album to catapult them into succes and then they just died :(

Ah, that sucks. I’ve never done SRO for the Hawks, but I’ve had tickets near that section and the view didn’t seem terrible. Glad you still had fun!

It’s a classic in the style! Although I could see how you might be let down if you’re used to the more modern, juicy IPA’s. It’s a go-to for me though, especially on hot days.

I’ve heard good things about Southern Cut, but I’ve never been. The steakhouse from the same owners, Chicago Cut, is excellent.

 

Larry David is hosting SNL on November 4th. Cancel everything else that weekend!

 

Really hope these records start shipping out early next week. Getting antsy.

That's kind of how I felt about needing to see Radiohead and Tool live. So glad I was able to cross both of those off my list in the last few years.

 

That's how I still feel about Radiohead unfortunately. It's how I felt about Tool until 5 months ago when I finally was able to see them!

 

I love that the episode of Seinfeld when George quits his job, and then goes back saying he was just joking; was something that Larry David really did when he worked at SNL.
