I saw them at my first club show ever with Sparta and Glassjaw (snocore tour)
and saw them once with Circa Survive in 2005 I think at a tiny bar/club? I don't even know what it was. Circa was just getting started and had either just released Juturna or were about to release it. pretty awesome show.

El Cielo was my favorite. Not sure if it’ll still be my favorite after my revisit though

I am genuinely open to anything. My wheelhouse is definitely rap, post punk/darkwave, post hardcore, and alt rock/grunge/etc. but im open to everything from pop to black metal.

Lately my favs are Julien Baker, Lil Peep, Jeff Rosenstock, and Chelsea Wolfe.

Actually newer Post Hardcore/Pop Punk bands are appreciated, last 5-7 years I been mostly on Rap/Alt & Indie Rock and dabbled around everywhere from noise rock to black metal so I could use those recs. @Kingjohn_654 i know youre a Pop Punk guy.

I know of them but would be lying if I said I'm familiar beyond a few passing listens.

Agreed. I always liked Sparta. Saw them for the first time in the summer of 2002.

It was one of my first big shows I ever went to and I had just graduated high school a couple weeks beforehand.

Weezer/The Strokes/Dashboard Confessional/Sparta mainstage and there was a second stage with a few bands including Loudermilk (I still love some of their songs) and Home Town Hero (basically Awolnation now).

Unfortunately The Strokes had to cancel but it was still pretty awesome for 18 year old me.

Yes. Shitty beer is generally just flavorless, or at worst tastes vaguely boozy and/or sweet.

Shitty wine can taste all sorts of fucked up.

I'm a little biased toward Sparta since they're from El Paso and Jim Ward is pretty cool. he's really trying now to make a music scene there. when I was a kid we didn't get many good bands coming through but there was always an El Paso date for sparta's tours.

we mostly had the annual tours of Disturbed, Korn, Chevelle, Puddle of mudd. Creed.

I guess this makes more sense since more goes into making wine so more can go wrong to ruin the product? I won't act as if I don't like wine, I'm just not familiar. I am definitely a flavor guy with my drinks so I could fuck with wine, I'm just a broke boi still :verysad: so i dont know what is economical tasting but powerful wine. im super ignorant lol.

I mean if you're a Brand New fan, you'd especially enjoy their last two albums. They're older than the last 5-7 years, but it's like if Brand New were much more punk.

I'm not so beholdent to the time frame, admittedly my family didn't have much so I didn't even have a computer to fully feed my music love till 2006-(more-so)2007ish and I went hard in scooping up as much as possible but of course couldn't find EVERYTHING. Wouldn't ever want to... I would have no use for living lol.

It’s kinda funny...I don’t think I’ll ever be able to think about YFW or The Fray again with thinking of BB
