Yep, that was basically my thoughts on both shows. Hah. The OC crammed too much into that first season, they had no where to go after all the drama in those 24 episodes, it was most shows 2-4 season arc.

And that's dead on about NG, once you stop liking or relating to the characters, why keep watching? Only so many, "oh come on!" moments before I just can't keep watching it over and over without a better hook. Good for people that can/like that kinda thing, I'm clearly not one of them.

 

I loved that show when I was in elementary school.

I watched a few episodes on Netflix a while back for fun. It's sexist, racist, and awful.

 

I can tell by your follow up question that you're taking this seriously. I mean in general. You a fan? I don't like it much tbh.

 

They have Freaks and Geeks on there. Interesting.

If that's the "list" we're going by ... then that's up there with VM at GOAT.

 

27 episode first season! That's crazy it had that many episodes. I agree with cramming too much into one season though.

Season 2 was pretty enjoyable overall I thought, but some of the storylines were even more ridiculous than season 1.

I was so gutted when Freaks and Geeks ended after the first season. That show still holds up to this day

 

I haven't watched it yet (and I'm not sure if I will), but have you seen 13 Reasons Why?

Spaghetti, cooked and sauced correctly, is great. Too many carbs to eat on a regular basis and I'd consider it a comfort food with a salad and good bread for me. However, most people overcook the noodles and end up with mushy noodles with a pile of ketchup-equivilant sitting on top of it like a hat. And that's no good at all.

 

My So-Called Life was another show that ended too soon. Nowhere near on the Freaks and Geeks level, but the second half of that show is really strong

I have not, and I probably won't watch it (I read the Wikipedia page), I've not really big on entertainment with suicide in it lately and it doesn't seem like it's in my wheelhouse for something I'd like. I've got a bunch of other things I gotta catch up on and finish in my queue.

I was looking through the imdb page a few days ago and completely forgot that Chris Brown and Chris Pratt were both in season 4

 

They also have Friday Night Lights on that list.

I guess that kinda counts. That's definitely up there on my personal list of best teen dramas.

I have issues with 13 Reasons Why. My wife is a nurse at a children's hospital and after that who came out she saw a huuuuuuge increase in teens coming in who had attempted suicide. They had to start handing out flyers specifically talking about that show and how killing yourself isn't anything like that show.


Also Freaks and Geeks is just one of the greatest tv show of all time regardless of genre.

Yeah I never really watched it until I was older and saw some reruns and it is straight up unbearable.

Smart. I love Batman so it took me nearly 2 seasons to give up on it.
