Dates tomorrow. "No costumes, no props, no video screens, no computer servers. We’re just going to walk out on stage, sit down on stools, and play a bunch of old songs. Oh, and we’re going to be performing almost exclusively originals (i.e. not parodies). The deep cuts and obscure tracks. The songs that were never hits. The ones you barely remember."

I don’t think I knew that Weird Al had any songs that aren’t parodies, lol.

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

^Sounds better than an Attila or Neck Deep show.

Oh, Weatherly just signed with Hopeless. Might see them on some more tours soon. Sorta similar to older Mayday Parade

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Weird Al has TONS of original stuff, they're all over his records.

So is Broadside the #1 band on Victory now that CbK and Terror are both gone?

3 "holiday tour" dates just announced:

12/8 Jersey City, NJ @ White Eagle Hall
12/9 Amityville, NY @ Revolution Bar
12/10 Easton, PA @ One Center Square

Not even a tour really, it's basically just some one offs

I suppose that broadside headliner is probably the reason they haven't been able to announce the Silverstein/Tonight Alive tour.

If they are then they need to market them better.

Either them or Islander. At least I think Islander is still on Victory. Idk both Victory's website and Wikipedia page are terribly updated. Website says Comeback Kid is still on the label, the wiki says that Terror is still on the label.

I just looked at their current roster and Broadside has to be the biggest one. Reverend Horton Heat still has a good sized following as well. There's some decent bands signed there nowadays (Jungle Rot, Abandoned By Bears, The Tossers) but it's pretty dreadful in terms of how many of them can actually draw.

I've kind of just expected Victory to stop being a thing like 3 or so years ago honestly. Like all I've heard about them is shitty business practices. Most of the bands would do much better on literally any other big label. Broadside would fit in easily with Fearless, Jungle Rot seems like a fit for Metal Blade, etc.

They called it a holiday tour for whatever reason and I just copied it over.

Seriously. It's funny that a few years ago, the top Victory bands (ADTR/Emmure) got what seems to be 100% of a push while others got next to nothing. Now, it seems like no one is getting much at all.

Forgot about Reverend Horton Heat. They're like Clutch in the sense that they have a solid following and don't really try to gain new fans by taking opening spots on tours. Plus, I don't think you can build a Victory Records tour around them since no other band on the label fits with their style. I know that Victory lives on their back catalog but I don't know how much longer they can survive doing that.

It's honestly sad to me, Broadside are a great group of guys who put out some good music. Paradise was a great album and I feel like no one heard anything about it unless they were already a fan of the band. Hopefully they're able to get out soon and onto a different label, they'd be so much better off.

Fearless seems like the perfect label for them honestly.

Hopefully that rumored Silverstein tour will gain them some new fans. Hopefully their contract is up soon.
